The big problem with listening on the internet is that at certain times the programme that might also be simulcast on FM or DAB such as BBC local radio stations (mainly sports commentaries, football in particular) may get prevented from being broadcast due to rights issues.

In my local area they are a few local football clubs where you can often hear commentary on a seperate match broadcast from the same station if you have both DAB & FM at your disposal that are prevented from being heard due to rights issues if listening via the internet. I really wish there was more smartphones available in DAB.

The only reason i bought an LG is because of DAB Radio.

The problem with DAB radioes is the fact they use up to 8 times more battery than a FM radio.
Radio via internet is getting so cheap that it is almos no costs.
Also radio via internet has better sound than DAB.
So forget DAB.
