I’ve had two of these both failed with 18 months. The internals generate too much heat causing the solder to soften, I live in the U.K. But both failed in summer. I have and older different make “Roberts” that sat on a south facing window ledge and is on many hours most days for the last 15 years working fine. The ecologic 4 is poorly made. Don’t buy.
