In Germany they use the newer DAB+ standard, so it would be better to choose a radio with DAB+. One similarly priced radio with DAB+ is the AZATOM Blackfriars.

Eats batteries and buzzes when used with the mains power supply. Not very sensitive. The extendable antenna was so fragile that it broke off the first time I extended it. Took it down the tip.
