Of course the way a radio sounds is important, but so is the way it looks. A stylishly designed radio can inject some glamour into any room of the house. We’ve put together a list of seven radios that look amazing.

1. Como Audio Solo

This unique radio from Como Audio was launched as a Kickstarter project and is designed by Tom DeVesto, founder of Tivoli Audio. The idea behind the Como Audio Solo is to take all of the radio formats currently available and make them accessible in one radio without the need for an app or a remote control. Some of its features include:

  • FM and DAB/DAB+ radio
  • Internet radio
  • Compatibly with Spotify, Google Cast, Amazon Dot
  • Bluetooth streaming
  • USB port for playing MP3s and other music files

It has a beautifully simple design, looking like a block of wood. The beautiful wooden box is also designed to sound great, with an acoustic chamber, a 3” woofer and a 3/4” dome tweeter.

4. Crosley Ranchero AM/FM Radio

This radio is made by Crosley Radio, an American company who seek inspiration in vintage music players for their products. The company is named after Powel Crosley, Jr, an inventor and entrepreneur who helped make the radio a household item in America in the 1920s.

The Ranchero is a stunning-looking 1950’s-style AM/FM radio. It lacks any advanced features such as Bluetooth, but could add a touch of retro class to your home.
